Breakfast

We are proud to offer an extensive breakfast menu with particular emphasis on the buffet selection of fresh fruits, cereals, granola, nuts, dried fruits, yoghurts, squeezed juices and a selection of cheeses and cooked meats. All cooked options are prepared to order and include porridge served with demarara sugar and a jug of cream, smoked salmon with scrambled free range eggs and of course the traditional Teesdale breakfast of your choice including sausages, black treacle cured bacon and black pudding from the local butcher.

Core breakfast time is between 8.00am and 9.00am although we are very happy to provide an earlier breakfast from 7.00am or a later breakfast until 10am if you let us know the night before.

Bar and Wine

We have a well stocked bar (sorry bottled beers only) and carefully selected wine list. The bar is open at all reasonable times for a drink with nibbles in the lounge or outside on the patio.

Picnic Lunch

We are happy to provide a packed lunch for you to enjoy on your local walk or to help sustain Pennine Way walkers along their journey. This will comprise freshly prepared sandwiches, salad, egg,  crisps, fresh fruit, homemade cake and a drink. Priced at £6 please order the night before.
