The Lounge

Our comfortable and peaceful residents lounge with log fire and exposed beams is the ideal place to relax either on your arrival with a welcoming coffee/tea and homemade cakes and biscuits or after a healthy days walking or sightseeing around Teesdale.

The room is furnished with soft leather sofas and oak chairs and decorated with tapestries and needle points. The thick stone walls keep this room cool in the summer and warm on the chilliest of winter's day.

The lounge is a great place to meet other guests and share your experiences of Teesdale over a drink from our well stocked bar. It is also home to a wealth of local information, literature and a range of card and board games.
