Over the years Brunswick House has gained an enviable reputation for its outstanding food cooked to the highest standards & where possible using only fresh Teesdale produce. Cereals, fruit, juices and bakery items, followed by a full cooked breakfast can be enjoyed leisurely in the mornings. Dinner at Brunswick House is highly recommended. A table d’hote menu with main courses changed daily is served most evenings at 7.30pm. All dishes are prepared using the best of locally sourced ingredients.

 Booked into The Brunswick as wanted to visit High and Low Force Waterfalls. A very warm welcome, with pot of tea and home-made biscuits, greeted us. We had also booked to have an overnight meal. This was excellent and extremely good value. There was a cosy lounge at our disposal with a roaring log fire. The breakfast was superb. Fresh fruit. lovely bread, cereal of every kind as well as an excellent cooked breakfast using local meats from the butcher. Highly recommended.
