The Bedrooms

Our two twin bedded rooms and three double bedded rooms are individually designed and decorated in a style that reflects the many period features of the guest house.

Room 1

Situated on the first floor at the rear of the house this elegant twin bedded room oozes charm. The peaceful room boasts an original Georgian fireplace and is furnished with two single cast iron bedsteads and solid pine furniture.

Crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen and feather and down quilts and pillows are complimented by chenille throws and decorative cushions.

In room facilities include colour TV, CD/Radio alarm, mini fridge, hairdryer and tea /coffee making facilities plus mineral water. En-suite facilities comprise a fully tiled bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and WC plus a range of complimentary toiletries.

Room 2

A well proportioned first floor double with an outlook over Middletons Market Green. The room has a small period cast iron fireplace and is furnished with a queen size antique style cast iron and brass bedstead, solid pine furniture and a two seater sofa.

Crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen and feather and down quilts and pillows are complimented by a chenille throw and decorative cushions.

Room 3

A light airy double room with two windows both with window seats facing the front of the guest house. The room has an original Georgian stone mantel and surround and is furnished with a queen size antique style bedstead antique dressing table and solid pine bedside tables.

Room 4

A warm, cosy and quiet double room at the rear of the house. The room is furnished with a solid pine bedstead and furniture.

A smaller but peaceful twin bedded room located on the second floor (two flights of stairs) with views across Teesdale. The room is furnished with two single cast iron bedsteads and solid pine furniture.
